The Wika PG23HP-P Series HD High Pressure Gauge with Safety Pattern is an exceptional instrument designed for demanding high-pressure applications, including water jet cutting, high-pressure cleaning, and test benches used in autofrettage and burst pressure testing. Capable of measuring pressures up to 6,000 bar, this gauge stands out for its ability to handle some of the most extreme conditions in industrial settings.
Engineered for precision and durability, the PG23HP-P features a solid baffle wall and complies with the stringent DIN 16001 high-pressure standard. The "S3" safety version incorporates laminated safety glass, a blow-out back, and a solid baffle wall that separates the measuring system from the dial, ensuring maximum operator protection. In case of failure, any ejection of media or components is directed through the back of the instrument, safeguarding the user.
The gauge's high load cycle stability and long service life are achieved through the use of premium stainless steel and nickel-based alloys, making it reliable under both static and dynamic pressure conditions. Standard accuracy is 1.0%, with an optional improved accuracy of 0.6% available for scales up to 4,000 bar. Additionally, the resistance to shock and vibration can be enhanced with an optional case filling, further extending the gauge's applicability in rigorous environments.
